Thank you to all who attended our June Chapter meeting held Humancentric. Humancentric's CEO Dr. Barry Beith gave a very informative presentation on how the convergence of HF and ID meet up to create the most optimal and successful product design strategy. Thank you also to HCT's Chicago office Director Marvin Smith for coordinating this event for us and allowing us to tour HCT's new Chicago facility.

Presentation Topic: Dr. Ed Israelski, Abbott Human Factors Program Manager, will be presenting on the topic Human Factors Engineering Applied to Medical Products. The talk will give a short introduction to the unique aspects of HFE when applied to medical products including devices, labeling and packaging. The regulations and FDA guidances for medical devices will be reviewed as well as applicable human factors standards.
Location: Abbott Park, IL -- Attendees should report to the Main Gate #1 (AP12) on Rt 43/ Waukegan Road to collect badges. Then come to Building AP6C, park in Lot P, and report to the lobby, where you will be taken to the conference room F on the lower level.
